Repeat all of the above steps on the opposite side rail.

Next, click the side rails into the Motor Rail and the Battery rail, then secure each corner with screws (holes are pre-drilled). Take care to ensure the wires are tucked in neatly. Please see video below:
(At this point, once the drive rod is inserted at both ends, make sure the float rail is level. If it needs adjusting, remove the drive rod, level the float rail and re-insert drive rod).

If the motor needs changing or the float rail needs adjusting, once the blind is installed, the drive bar rods will need to be separated and turned accordingly to level the float rail. Please see video below:

Join wires together in the Motor Rail and add the Motor Rail Cover – again taking care to ensure wires are tucked in. See video below:

Join wires together in the Battery Rail. Insert (male) lead into the battery and feed the (female) solar panel lead through the hole in the back of the Battery Rail. Add Battery Rail Cover. (A piece of white tape can be used to cover the hole to seal, to prevent insects/dust getting in). See video below:

Set the limits on the remote control. (See Motorised Blind Remote Instructions – in ‘Technical Info’)

The skylight is ready to be installed.
